2026 Regular Season Finale: The Field is Set!

Posted on March 1, 2026 by Josh Fitts

Six weeks of grit and grind have come to an end. Round 6 officially closed the book on the 2026 regular season, locking in our divisional champions and finalizing the Elite Eight who will battle for the title.

🏆 Divisional Winners

The top two teams from each division have punched their tickets to the 2026 Playoffs. Weeks 7 and 8 will determine our champion.

The Stakes: Points earned in Week 7 carry directly into Week 8—there is no reset. Seeding was earned; now it must be defended.

The Elite Eight Qualifiers

  • Whatcom County: Frost Creek Yetis (5-1) & Mossy Roc (3-2-1)
  • King County: Blyth Squad (4-2) & Terrace Creek (4-2)
  • Skagit County: Oak Town Reapers (4-1-1) & Tall Firs Throllers (3-2-1)
  • Snohomish County: Silver Lake Shrooms (3-3) & Arlington Eagles (3-3)

Note: For all teams outside the Top 8, the “Best of the Rest” 2026 Battle Royale kicks off in Week 7 with the same carryover format!

⚡ Round 6 Heroics

The regular season didn’t go out quietly. We saw season-high ratings and clutch finishes as the pressure mounted.

  • Lucas Latta torched Edgewater with a 1046-rated round—the highest of the season and a massive warning shot to the playoff field.
  • Kyle Miller dominated Frost Creek, posting a clean 1003-rated round on one of the league’s most demanding courses.
  • The Ace Club: Two more names were added to the highlight reel at Edgewater! Congrats to Drew Cluley (Hole 1) and Marty Wilkins (Hole 7).

📈 By The Numbers: Scoring Leaders

If the playoffs were based purely on scoring power, here is how the top of the leaderboard looks heading into the semis:

  1. Frost Creek Yetis: 44 pts
  2. Silver Lake Shrooms: 43 pts
  3. Blyth Squad: 42.5 pts
  4. Terrace Creek: 40 pts
  5. Oak Town Reapers: 39 pts

The regular season rewarded consistency. The next two weeks reward nerves of steel.

The road to the trophy continues this weekend at NSRA. Please note the specific days for your Conference and ensure your team is ready to battle in the morning.

Conference Locations

Conference A (Saturday, March 7th): All King and Skagit County teams @ NSRA on Saturday.

Conference B (Sunday, March 8th): All Whatcom and Snohomish County teams @ NSRA.

Whether you are fighting for the championship in the Top 8 or battling for pride in the Battle Royale, the energy is going to be electric.

See you on the tee pad! 🥏

Round 5 Recap: The Shakeup & The Race

Posted on February 18, 2026 by Josh Fitts

Round 5 is officially in the books, and the top of the league is starting to separate. If you aren’t hyped for the shakeup and the potential for chaos, you might want to double-check the standings.

The Top Tier

Frost Creek Yetis (4-1) They remain the benchmark. Still sitting near the top in points, the Yetis are the team to beat. Just a heads-up: if you’re playing golf in the woods up North, keep an eye out—that’s the Yetis’ natural habitat.

Silver Lake Shrooms (3-2) Don’t let the two losses fool you; they are leading the entire league in total points with 38. They are scoring at a completely different level right now, and the pressure is showing. If you want that top spot, you’re going through them.

Right There in the Mix

Oak Town Reapers (3-1-1) Cruising steady and perfectly aligned for a clean approach into the stretch run. There’s been no turbulence yet, but buckle up—the captain just turned on the seatbelt sign.

The Race

Blyth Squad (3–2) Unbothered and rising. If they find their rhythm in the back half, they’re a major problem for the frontrunners.

Sedro Woolley Mammoths (3-2) Skagit heavyweights with raw power. A sleeping giant waiting for the weather to turn.

Terrace Creek (3–2) Former champs and King County threats. High point potential—never count out these veterans.

Arlington Eagles (3–2) Hanging right in the thick of the Snohomish division and not giving away an inch for free. They’ve proven to be one of the scrappiest teams in the league this year.

The Shakeup

The Blaine Banshees taking down the Yetis is the story of the week. That is no small feat. Any time the top team is handed an L, the whole league takes notice. A massive result for the Banshees.

Hot Rounds: Sun’s Out, Guns Out ☀️

The conditions were clearly right, and these players were locked in. Scoring this well on temporary layouts usually results in even higher ratings, but these numbers are already elite:

  • Adam Alexander: Fired a 45 (Rated 1028) at Woodland Park.
  • Garrett Schwab: also shot a 45 (Rated 1025) at Silver Lake.

Ace Alert! 🌟

Nothing shifts the energy of a round like the sound of chains even if its one of your last holes. Huge congrats to our Round 5 sharpshooters:

  • Elliot Wiegand: Silver Lake, Hole 5
  • Matt Nerland: Woodland Park, Hole 17

Looking Ahead: Round 6

The home stretch is officially here. The top teams are established, the points race is tightening, and after the rounds we just witnessed, nobody is safe.

Next Stop: Frost Creek and Edgewater.

See you on the tee pad. 🥏

♠️ Power Rankings After Week 4: Ace Addition

Posted on February 2, 2026 by Josh Fitts

Results are in.

The Yetis are on their own plane of existence.

❄️ The Yeti Tier ❄️

You know who they are.
4-0. 31.5 points. Cold.

They are actually just chilling out on the course. No folding. Just winning. Showing up and getting stacks.

While you are arguing about getting the rankings right, the Yetis are honing their craft and checking the weather for playoffs.

Legit Contenders

No doubt. Already in. Probably.

Oak Town Reapers
Still have not lost technically. Still dangerous. They have not needed a monster week yet, which should probably concern everyone else.

Anacortes ATown Aces
The one loss is already a footnote. They score, they travel well, and they do not flinch when things get a little wet.

Mossy Roc
Hard to follow. Never out of it. Feels like every match against them is closer than you want it to be. Pretty sure they have an ace up the sleeve.

Full House

A lot of teams at 2-2; only so much time.

Silver Lake Shrooms
Quietly one of the highest point totals in the league. If you are sleeping on them, that one is on you. 2-2

Terrace Creek
King County division leader with big swings and big points. Capable of winning any week. 2-2

Blyth Squad
Steady on the come up. Unbothered by the early season. 2-2

Jackson Disc Golf Ballers
Same record and points as Blyth. Balling out or discing out depending on the sport of the moment. 2-2

Arlington Eagles
Hanging right in Snohomish and not giving anything away for free. 2-2

River Rats

One strong week and everything changes.

Dairy Air
Strong aura in the udders. Still very much in the mix.

Church Creek Nomadz
Capable of popping off and wrecking someone’s plans for finals.

Shout out

Mount Vernon Marauders
19 points does not tell the whole story. They are scrappy and coming off a big win last round. Keep an eye on out for the Marauders wading through the flood. Good win, and good to see the course playable so soon after the flooding.

Quick Reminders Before You Start Stretching for this weekend.

This week is OFF.
No matches.
No standings drama.
No last minute weather checking.

Play some golf. Watch the game.

We are back on February 15 for Round 5, and things are about to move fast.

Week 7 is Semifinals
Week 8 is Finals

Every point matters from here on out. Division races are tight, tiers are fragile, and one off week can absolutely flip a playoff path.

Enjoy the breather. Then come back ready to throw.

♠️ Ace Recognition ♠️

Those are some nice aces.

Jesse Krause
Mossy Roc
Hole 6

Grant Ruby
Whitmarsh
Hole 18

Week 3 Check in

Posted on January 28, 2026 by Josh Fitts

I know some of you are already stretching, checking weather apps, and trying to remember where you’re throwing this weekend. Good news and bad news.

The good news
We are on the schedule this week at Whitmarsh and Mossy Roc. Bags ready. Legs loose. Putters warm-ish. Gametime.

The bad news
We are OFF on 2-8 to observe the great national holiday known as The Super Bowl. Please remember to sacrifice your best pigskin and drink the ceremonial funny juice* in observance. This is not optional. League policy.

*please drink responsibly.

We will be BACK on 2-15, recovered from the holiday and ready to establish the next play.

Quick Results and Standings Check In

Three weeks in and things are heating up fast.

Top of the Pile

Frost Creek Yetis are doing Yeti things, sitting at a perfect 3 and 0 with a league leading 24.5 points. Absolutely no chill. Somebody check their tent.

Oak Town Reapers go BRRRRRT. Flying up the leaderboard to 20 points. Are they the good guys or the baddies.

Leading the rest of the league is Terrace Creek, hanging right there at 2 and 1 in the shadows of the Reapers, with slightly more points at 21.5 to the Reapers 20. Pressure situation.

Left Side, Strong Side

Anacortes A Town Aces and Sedro Woolley Mammoths keeping pressure on the top with strong early showings. Skagit County teams are showing up early in the first half of the season.

Any Given Sunday

Terrace Creek is 4th and goal. Let’s see if they convert.

North Park Narwhals unpredictable but dangerous. You never know what coverage they are in.

Blaine Banshees and Cornwall Condors locked in a mutual agreement to remain neutral. Defense wins championships, but so does a positive win loss ratio.

Should Have Ran It

Everything lined up. Then it didn’t.

JuelNation is better than the record, but the execution in crunch time has been… debated.

Plenty of teams warming up, finding lines, and absolutely about to ruin someone’s week soon. One good drive away from flipping the script. Coming up next is our halftime show featuring, Andy and the Yetis.

Extremely Scientific Power Rankings

I’m just here so I don’t get fined.

  1. Frost Creek Yetis
  2. Oak Town Reapers
  3. Terrace Creek
  4. Sedro Woolley Mammoths
  5. Lake Stevens Blowflies

Everyone else is one hot round away from greatness or one bad tree kick away from an existential meltdown. Will the Yetis be hibernating this week, or are they just built for the cold. It’s in their veins.

Reminder

We throw this week at Whitmarsh and Mossy Roc
We are OFF 2-8
We return 2-15

Go enjoy the Super Bowl. Honor thy pigskin. Hydrate responsibly. Protect the throwing arm.

Check-in after week 2

Posted on January 16, 2026 by Josh Fitts

If you have been staring at your bag, checking the weather, or wondering if you somehow missed a FB post about this weekend, relax. This weekend is OFF. No matches. No tee times. No early morning drive to the course.

We will be back next week, refreshed, rested, and hopefully done thinking about how many putts we left out there in Weeks 1 and 2.

While we wait, here is a quick check in on where things stand after two weeks of league play.

Week 1 and Week 2 Recap

Two weeks in and things are already separating into clear tiers.

At the top, a few teams have been quietly handling business. Others are very much still in the mix, while a handful are definitely telling themselves that this might be a long season. Team golf is a great way to get in tournament style reps. It might not feel like high pressure golf early in the morning, but when you want to win, those knees can start shaking. The teams at the top are staying cool under pressure.

Across the league, we have seen:

  • Multiple undefeated teams
  • Several tight point races inside divisions
  • A whole lot of “we were right theres”

Which brings us to the standings.

League Standings After Week 2

Undefeated and Setting the Pace

  • Anacortes A Town Aces 2 and 0 with 16 points
  • Mossy Roc 2 and 0 with 16 points
  • Frost Creek Yetis 2 and 0 with 14.5 points

These teams have shown consistency across both weeks and are earning points regardless of course or matchup.

Most teams are sitting at 1 and 1 and are well within striking distance of the lead.

Extremely Official Very Serious Power Rankings

This is not science. This is vibes and very light opinion based reporting. I am absolutely not biased toward any particular county or team /s. Also, let’s get some early predictions in. I have the Blaine Banshees taking it all down in the finals.

Top Tier

  • Mossy Roc
  • Anacortes A Town Aces
  • Frost Creek Yetis

Contenders

  • Jackson Disc Golf Ballers
  • Oak Town Reapers
  • Church Creek Nomadz

FORE!

  • Dairy Air
  • Silver Lake Shrooms
  • Arlington Eagles

Many teams are one good week away from making this list extremely outdated.

What to Remember

  • This weekend is OFF
  • Workparty at Whitmarsh this Saturday.
  • League play resumes next week
  • Schedules and course locations are on the site
  • Standings are updated
  • Yes, we are thinking about you too. :3

Rest up, help your disc karma at the Whitmarsh workparty, or do absolutely nothing. We will see everyone back out there next week.

And please, for the love of Treesus, double check the course before you leave the house.

How to find the course you should be at!

Posted on January 7, 2026 by Josh Fitts

Hi. It recently came to my attention that the schedule on the website might be “hard to use.” So, here I am with a step by step guide on how to figure out which course you should actually be at. It’s not that hard, but somehow it still is, so I’ve included visuals for those who don’t want to read all of this.

Step 1: Hover over the Calendars button in the navigation menu, then click on 2026 NWWA Team Disc Golf League Schedule. Alternatively, you can click the button on the Leagues home page.

Step 2: To find your team’s schedule, locate the search bar on the right side above the table and type in your team name. From here, the table will only display your team’s matchups (as well as matchups happening at your home course).

Congratulations! You found the schedule. This is what the page will look like once you enter your team’s name. You can now see important information such as the date, round by week number, your conference, the important one: course location (notice Blaine is hosting Week 2), and of course, the matchup.

Step 3 (Optional): Scroll a bit further down to view the Monthly Calendar. Feel free to add this to your personal Google Calendar or reference it as needed. If you want to add it to your calendar, click the blue hyperlink in the bottom left corner.

Hopefully this helps everyone navigate their way to the correct course in the coming weeks. Feel free to add this to your Google account or share it with your SO so they know which Sundays are already spoken for during these busy winter weekends. Looking forward to tossing with y’all soon!
